Legal Pawn is an independent, student-driven legal blog founded by students of Shoolini University. This professionally managed platform was created with a vision to promote and publish high-quality legal research on academic and contemporary issues in law.

The blog strives to be a dynamic space for legal scholarship by publishing concise academic articles and insightful commentary on pressing socio-political and legal developments.

While we maintain an open editorial policy, all articles must align with academic or professional legal discourse. We particularly welcome topics offering critical perspectives or fresh insight into the following areas:

Note: This list is not exhaustive. Authors are welcome to explore any topic within the broader legal domain.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and non-plagiarized.

  • Ideal article length:

    • Short Articles: 1000–2000 words

    • Long Articles: 2500–5000 words

  • Formatting requirements:

    • Font: Times New Roman

    • Line Spacing: 1.5

    • Title Font Size: 16

    • Heading Font Size: 15

    • Body Font Size: 12

  • Avoid footnotes. Instead, use hyperlinks for sources and include an endnote section (see sample articles for reference).

  • Submissions must be in MS Word format, titled “Blog Submission.”

  • Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.

Review Timeline

We typically review submissions within 7–8 business days. Final acceptance may require minor revisions.

By submitting your work, you confirm that the article is your original work and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
